CMU and T3™ Professional Development District-Based T3™ Teacher Leader Cadre


Looking for a way to offer graduate credit for your district’s professional development? Central Michigan University  provides a way by working with school districts and regional educational service areas to make application for teachers to earn three semester hours of credit.
 

Benefits to Your District

 

District Requirements for CMU Graduate Credit and Instructor Criteria
 
  • CMU instructional standards and rubrics must be integrated in district syllabi
  •  TI material needs to be the framework by which district courses are designed
  • Syllabi must contain either Math or Science content
  • Instructors must be TI certified and hold a minimum of an MA degree in the related content area
9 day training 3 semester hours of credit in MTH 595 or BIO 597
(Course number based on syllabus content)

Here’s how to apply for CMU Graduate Credit for a District-Based Tł Teacher Leader Cadre Course:

 

1. Complete an interest form on the Texas Instruments Web site.

2. Apply to CMU for the credit option after you have been contacted by TI
