All students who apply for graduation and receive a graduation invitation by e-mail are eligible to participate in the Mount Pleasant campus commencement ceremony. Diplomas are not distributed during the graduation ceremonies. Students who are eligible receive their diplomas and a transcript by mail.
CMU off-campus students who are eligible for diplomas and do not attend a
ceremony will automatically receive a transcript and program with their
diploma, without additional notification.
If you would like information about the graduation recognition ceremonies at
your local program center, you must contact them directly.
Personalized announcements may be ordered from www.balfourcollege.com or by dialing 1-877-BALFOUR (225-3687).
Each graduate participating in the commencement ceremony receives six tickets, which admit guests to Rose Center/Student Activity Center. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Graduates will be given tickets only after being issued graduation caps and gowns. Tickets must be picked up in person. No additional tickets are available.
Caps and gowns can be purchased and picked up at Rose Center, Room 125, the week of graduation or you may pre-order caps and gowns March 25 through April 25 at www.cmubookstore.com. If you do not pre-order your cap and gown, you can still purchase them on the day of commencement at Rose Center, Room 125. See your graduation information packet for exact dates and times.

carved into the wood to create a professional display of the culmination of
all your hard work. The plaque costs $20 and can be ordered by using the
