Off-Campus Library Services (OCLS)

CMU’s nationally-recognized Off-Campus Library Services department provides reference and instructional assistance to off-campus and online students and faculty. Through the CMU Libraries' Documents on Demand office, students and faculty also have access to a range of document delivery and interlibrary loan services.

Reference Librarian Hours:

Monday – Wednesday 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. EST
Thursday – Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. EST
Sunday 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. EST

Documents on Demand Hours:

Monday – Wednesday 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. EST
Thursday – Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. EST
Saturday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST
Sunday 12 p.m. - 9 p.m. EST

OCLS reference librarians provide research assistance via telephone, e-mail, web form, and live chat. Document delivery requests are typically processed within 24-48 hours of being submitted.
