Personal enrichment programs
CMU schedules seminars and workshops that promote personal growth and lifelong
learning for students of all ages:
Road Scholar- education and travel programs
for adults 55 and older
Technology training from CMU/Mindleaders - online technical and end-user courses that combine hands-on exercises, simulations and relevant graphics, with 24-hour access to e-learning
e-Learning courses from
Ed2Go - online personal enrichment/career development courses in a variety of
categories, covering almost every subject imaginable.
Community Music School* -
CMU’s School of Music provides music instruction and performing opportunities
for children through adults. Fall and Spring sessions are offered during the
academic year in private instrumental and voice lessons.
Summer Music Camp* - In
collaboration with CMU’s School of Music, one-week summer camps are offered on
campus.
Drum Major and Colorguard Clinics* - CMU offers high school drum majors
the opportunity to study Advanced Marching Skills, Effective Conducting Skills,
Field Leadership and Motivation and Score and Drill Comprehension. The Color
Guard Clinic offers Body Movement, Poise, Equipment Control, Leadership and How
to Create Color Guard Routines.
