Clarke Ross, DPA, adjunct
faculty member has edited a book, "Managed Behavioral Heath Care
Handbook," for Aspen Publishers, Inc. Ross also wrote the first
chapter for the book, "An Overview of Managed Behavioral Health
Care."
M. Riley-Elliot, adjunct faculty member has conducted two workshops at the National Federally Employed Women conference in Indianapolis, Ind. and has also conducted a full-day course titled, "Effective Communications: Business Writing" at the AT&T/Alliance National Conference in Orlando, Fla. David A. Opalewski, adjunct faculty member has had two articles published. "Root Issues of Adolescent Suicide," was published in Student Assistance Journal, Summer 2001 issue, and "Suicide at the Middle Level, Addressing a Fast Growing Killer," was published in the Spring 2001 issue of The Journal of the New England League of Middle Schools. Thomas M. Box, Ph.D., adjunct faculty member had his article "Advanced Manufacturing Techniques and Mass Customization," published in the Academy of Strategic and Organizational Leadership Journal, vol. 4 (2). Darlene Van Tiem, Ph.D., James L. Moseley, Ed.D., and Joan Conway Dessinger, Ed.D., were recently honored with an award of excellence from the International Society for Performance Improvements. The award was given for the submission entitled: "Fundamentals of Performance Technology: A Guide to Improving People, Process and Performance." Van Tiem earned her MSA from CMU, Moseley and Conway are adjunct faculty members. Barbara A. Sposet, Ph.D. adjunct faculty member gave a presentation, "Reading Strategies for the Middle School Student," at the Ohio Middle School Association Spring Conference, and will be presenting "Reading is Everybody’s Responsibility" at the Ohio Conference of the Teaching of English and the Language Arts, Fall 2001 conference. |
