CMU global ID and password must be activated to access services

Remember. . . in order to use the Syllabus Build Tool or to access your Student or Instructor End-of-Course Survey you will need to activate your CMU global ID and password through the CMU helpdesk at (989) 774-3662.

You will need your global ID and password to access both systems. Web links to these systems will be sent to you through your CMU e-mail account. You need to check your CMU e-mail account often, or forward your CMU account to an account that you read more often.

In order to view the Syllabus Build Tool, we recommend that you use the Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher Web browser. Other browsers may change the graphics or not let you access this tool at all. If you forward your e-mail to an account that has its own browser, such as AOL, MSN or Yahoo, your computer may automatically try to open the link in a browser other than Internet Explorer. This may not work for you. Copy the link to the address field of an open copy of Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer may be downloaded for free from the Internet. Go to www.microsoft.com/downloads, and search for the Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1. If you need assistance, call the CMU helpdesk at (989) 774-3662.
