Community Music School
Music Instruction and Performing Opportunities for Children Through Adults
Music learning can be a lifelong journey, and to help begin that journey Central
Michigan University's School of Music is dedicated to providing quality music
instruction to the mid-Michigan area. Instructors are undergraduate and graduate
students, selected based on their experience and interest, and with the approval
of their applied music professor.

Spring 2012
Private Instrumental & Voice Lessons
Private instrumental lessons are offered to students age 6 through adults on
piano, string, woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. Voice lessons are
offered to students age 12 through adults. Lessons may be arranged for 30, 45 or
60 minutes. All lessons are given in the School of Music.
Instructors: CMU School of Music students
Age: 6 through adult (piano, instrumental); 12 through adult (voice)
Lessons: Students receive 12 lessons
Schedule: Arranged at convenience of the teacher and student
Cost: $175 – 30 minute lesson • $225 – 45 minute lesson • $295 – 60
minute lesson
