Community Music School

CMU’s School of Music provides music instruction and performing opportunities for children through adults. Fall and Spring sessions are offered during the academic year in private instrumental and voice lessons. See Community Music registration information.


Summer Music Camp

In collaboration with CMU’s School of Music, one-week summer camps are offered on campus. The Music Camp offers high school students the opportunity to interact with CMU School of Music faculty members, perform in chamber ensembles, and participate in full orchestra or concert band in CMU’s state-of-art concert halls. Drum Major and Colorguard Clinics

The Drum Major Clinic offers high school drum majors the opportunity to study Advanced Marching Skills, Effective Conducting Skills, Field Leadership and Motivation and Score and Drill Comprehension. The Color Guard Clinic offers Body Movement, Poise, Equipment Control, Leadership and How to Create Color Guard Routines. See DMCG information.
