How to apply online

Before filling out the application form:

• Click on “Apply to CMU” button
• Scroll to bottom of page and click on maroon “Graduate International Admissions” button
• Read the information on the next few pages, clicking next at the bottom of the page to advance through the information. 

Once you have read this information:

1. Click on the “Apply to CMU” button again
2. On the “Apply today!” page, click “Graduate admissions” under #1
3. Under “Start an online application,” click “Apply Now”
4. Create your account
5. Fill in the “Select Application Type” information using:
   #2“Off-Campus Programs or Distance Learning”
   

On the application fill in:

1. Admission Category: “Degree Seeking, Graduate Master’s”
2. Graduate Program Preference: Display choices by, “Center Location”
3.  Academic Program Preference: Where do you intend to take your courses? “MI, Flint – Flint Center” (The Port Huron Cohort is administered through the Flint Center)
4. Please choose your program, “MA-Education: Community College”
