Central Michigan University Off-Campus Programs is looking for part-time
temporary faculty to teach its highly motivated adult-learners. Classes are
taught in compressed terms at CMU’s off-campus centers throughout the United
States, Canada and Mexico. You’ll be paid a generous stipend and reasonable
travel expenses while you experience weekend or evening teaching schedules,
and add to your paycheck.
Demand is high for faculty with a Ph.D. or other terminal degree from a
regionally accredited institution. Teaching credentials and experience with
adult learners are also taken into consideration. The following disciplines
are in the most need of faculty:
CMU has multiple locations in
Michigan. Out-state sites include Metro Atlanta, Washington, D.C. Ohio
and many more fascinating destinations. If interested in teaching an online
class, we may have opportunities there, too.
Classes are taught in various formats including the popular weekend schedule completed in three or four alternating weekends and the evening sessions that meet one night per week for eight weeks. Schedules vary by location.
