Admission Process

 

Graduate Credit

New Student
  1. Complete online admissions application at apply.cmich.edu (see Online Admission Information).
  2. $50 non-refundable admissions fee applies.
  3. Students will be admitted as Non-Degree seeking. Non-degree status allows students to take six (6) credit hours without a transcript on file. An original transcript showing proof of your undergraduate degree must be on file at CMU prior to registering beyond six (6) hours.

 

Note:    If you’ve previously been admitted to Central Michigan University as a non-degree seeking student and have taken more than six (6) credit hours, please send an original transcript showing proof of your undergraduate degree to Central Michigan University, Off-Campus Programs, Transcript Department, 802 Industrial Drive, Mount Pleasant, MI 48858.

 

Previously Admitted Graduate Student
  1.  If it has been more than three (3) years since you’ve taken a class through Central Michigan University, you will need to complete the online admissions application at apply.cmich.edu to reactivate your status (see Online Admission Information)
  2. No charge for reinstatement.

 

Undergraduate Credit

 
New Student
