Julie Ward, a central Michigan native has 14 years of service with Central Michigan Community Hospital. As Vice President of Human Resources, she oversees all daily activities of the HR Department including Staff Recruitment/Retention, Wages and Benefits, and Employee Health. Other departments that report to Julie are Training and Development and Volunteer Services. Julie received her Associate and Bachelor's degrees from Ferris State University. She continued her education at Central Michigan University receiving a Master's degree in Health Services Administration and has been an adjunct staff member at CMU since 2004. Julie has served on the Hospice Board of Directors, the Ferris State University Health Care Advisory Council and the Michigan Hospital Association Workers Compensation Board.
