Dr. Lynn Unruh is an Assistant Professor in Health Services Administration at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Unruh received a BS in nursing from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Notre Dame. Her publications and research interests are in the areas of hospital organization, responses of hospitals to market forces, the job of nursing, nurse staffing in hospitals and nursing homes, and the relationship between nurse staffing and the quality of patient care. She has received funding from the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research and the National Science Foundation. Dr. Unruh teaches Managed Care, Health Care Finance, Health Economics, Risk Management, and Issues and Trends in the Health Professions. She resides in Orlando, Florida. |
