Ms. Theresa Ames is the executive secretary in the Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) Program in the School of Health Sciences. She joined the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions as temporary staff with the Dean’s Office in January 2005 but has been employed in various temporary office positions throughout Central Michigan University since January of 2003. Prior to joining Central Michigan University, she worked as a substitute teacher in the Clare/Gladwin Intermediate School Districts with the Clare, Farwell and Harrison Schools and at Mid Michigan Community College. Ms. Ames was also formerly employed with Central Michigan Newspapers in their Clare office for two years prior to the office closing in 2001 as the office secretary.

She is a 2000 graduate of Davenport University and holds three Associate in Applied Science Degrees in the fields of Office Information Specialist, Business Information Specialist and Administrative Secretary with an Executive Emphasis. Ms. Ames and her husband Ken are the parents of four boys and two girls. Their granddaughters are also a wonderful addition to their family.
