Plan A - Degree Requirements
In addition to the General Education Requirements and Major courses, Plan A requires 24 semester hours of Other Degree Requirements, and electives. A minor is optional on this degree.
Other Degree Requirements (24 semester hours)
The Bachelor of Science degree focuses on the exploration and achievement in the liberal arts, including humanities but with an emphasis on natural or social sciences. In addition to the general education requirements, you must complete course work in the areas of Humanities, Natural Science and Social Sciences. This degree requires 24 semester hours of Other Degree Requirements as part of the degree requirements.
Electives (6-17 semester hours)
Your degree requires 124 semester hours to graduate. Once your degree requirements are complete, you may still need credits to achieve 124. You may select courses that are of interest to you. We do recommend that you choose your courses in consultation with your academic advisor.
