An amendment is required any time that a student wants to deviate from
the approved program plan. An amendment authorizes the selection of a course
that is not currently on the student's approved program plan. Students
should not deviate from the program plan without an approved amendment from
the academic advisor; otherwise, there is a risk the deviations may not be
applicable to the course of study chosen. A program plan can be amended up
until the semester in which the student graduates.
Request an amendment to your program
plan from your academic advisor.
