2008 Program Cost

The cost to participate on the J-1 Academic Program through Central Michigan University (CMU) is:

 

Students will be enrolled for 12 semester credits as a full time student at CMU for each semester that they are on the program. Payment is expected upon arrival and is collected as part of an orientation meeting students will have with CMU staff during the first week of arrival in Orlando. Payment needs to be in US currency and can be made by US cash, money order, traveler’s checks or major credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express).

Compensation    
Hourly Wage   $6.79 – 8.14 depending on role selection


Students are scheduled to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and a maximum of 45 hours per week. There are six one week exception periods where students could be scheduled to work more than 45 hours for the week during holiday periods.
