Central Michigan University has an alliance with The Connecting Link (TCL), an educational training company that offers a wide range of professional development classes for educators. Through this alliance, K-12 teachers are able to enroll in TCL courses and earn three hours of graduate-level credit through CMU.
You will find that TCL is offering a number of courses in Michigan this
summer at cities across the state: Ann Arbor, Farmington Hills, Flint, Grand
Rapids, Kalamazoo, Livonia, Midland, Saginaw, Southfield and Traverse City.
CMU off-campus classrooms will be used for classes scheduled in Flint, Grand
Rapids, Lansing, Livonia, Saginaw, Southfield and Troy.
To learn more about The Connecting Link and the courses available to teachers in Michigan, or to register for a course, please visit TCL’s Web site at: www.connectinglink.com.
TCL offers four convenient ways to register:
Three hours of CMU graduate credit is attached to each course. Your registration to CMU will take place on your first day of class. An overview of the process follows:
Credit Relevance to Recertification
The CMU graduate credit awarded for TCL courses is designed for use toward professional certificate renewal, rather than provisional certificate renewal leading toward professional certification.
Take advantage of TCL courses this summer. Register today at www.connectinglink.com.
TCL courses may not substitute for regularly designated courses in degree
programs unless determined by the respective department.
